A genuine piece of Alex Elmsley ephemera.

I DON’T KNOW IF THIS IS OF INTEREST TO ANYBODY but in clearing our a lot of my stuff recently I came across a tie that belonged to Alex Elmsley. We were friends for over fifty years and when he died I helped clear his effects with his family and they gave me this tie along with a few other personal items. It’s not very stylish (Alex was never one for fashion) but is a rather gauche design, not even in silk but polyester, made in Korea and covered in rabbits and a top hat. He wore it very rarely at conventions. But it did belong to him, a genuine, personal effect of one of the world’s finest close-up magicians and I’m thinking of letting it go to a collector who might value it in his magic collection.
