MANY HAVE NOTICED THAT THERE HAS BEEN NO BLOG on this site for the past three weeks or so. The spirit was willing but the computer had other ideas. It crashed and as a computer innocent I was lost and spent would you believe over four hours talking to a Dell technician in a call centre in India (he paid for the call!). About the most frustrating experience I’ve had for ages whilst he tried every electronic avenue and peeled off  from time to time to talk to a colleague. After buying spare parts from Dell and then not receiving any further assistance re installation I gave up, sent the parts back with a rude letter and bought a new computer.

This was further frustration as all the software had to be installed again with the assistance of my technologically advanced nephew and hopefully – here we are again. Lots of magic news to report and of course Eastbourne convention on the horizon so thanks for keeping in touch and watch this space.
